Ressurection w/o gregtech?

Disabling gregtech seems to take away all the vanilla ore spawns. Is there a way around this or must I choose another pack to play without that mod?

There are probably ways around it, but why pick a GT balanced/focused pack and then remove GT?
Why not try Infinity instead?

I compared the new alpha packs and this one is closer to what I want in my custom single player world. I've disabled about 10 other mods from it as well, but none of the other ones break the game when disabled
 
It's not a huge deal, I think i can arrive at the same collection of mods from Infinity by disabling a ton of mods. I just wasn't going to spend the effort of setting up everything all over again if I could flip a proverbial switch and fix the other collection.
 
There is a "Custom Ore Gen" mod in Resurrection that has configs to only use GT ores. Disable this mod as well.
