%resolved% ftb skyblock crashes on start up [forceupdate worked somehow at attempt number 6]

when i press "play" nothing happens/crash report in game output​

Details of the issue:
when i press "play" nothing happens/crash report in game output ( if it has anything to do with the matter.. i am using the curse client to get the mod pack.. )​
 
after reinstalling the curse client and trying to start it again i actually got a minecraft window and it loaded a bit then died/crashed here is the crash report: http://pastebin.com/1qV5JkBW
(also i reinstalled it at the default location.. last time i did it in my game location which is on another drive)

after reinstalling and retrying countless times and installing all sorts of versions of java i for the past few hours have only encountered this error line "ERROR StatusLogger Unable to locate a logging implementation, using SimpleLogger"

now i have read countless threads about this problem and all of the threads have ended after a few exchanges back and fort.. the first encounter with this error how ever was waaay back in 2003 xD that was for codeing in java.. now i do know how to fix this problem in java now.. ( if i knew how to code and had a java coding program or what ever..) BUT i have not found a single fix or work around..

and yes i have tried turning it on and off again.. (multiple times) worst part is that i planned for playing this all weekend..
 
yes i am currently using it ( i have tried both/using both also made sure they are not running at the same time )
 
If it's not working with the legacy laucnher, go to the launcher setting and click force update and launch the pack. Not sure if that fixes it but it's worth a try.
 
i have done that.. and also for you'alls info this is on a newly factory defaulted pc.. all the parts are also new.. (its a desktop)
 
okay i just broke my keyboard in half in rage.. YES forceupdate SOMEHOW made it work.. i know for a fact that i have done that at least 5 times before but now it worked some how luckily i have like 10 keyboards laying around xD case closed thanks oh and just as a for your info i spent 8 and a half hours trouble shooting this.. tbh i dont even think i am gonna be playing any ftb skyblock today..
