Removing MapWriter mod in DW20 1.6.4 pack

Hey all

For the life of me, I cant seem to disable the MapWriter minimap because I cant find it in the mod list. I want to swap it out for Zan's Minimap since I prefer the Zan's waypoint system, zoom options and radar.

My computer isn't the fastest (i3-550 and 8GB RAM) so I'm just trying to disable mods I know I won't use. Having it enabled with the MapWriter minimap hidden is giving me some lag.

Any help much appreciated!

It is part of the opis mods. Disable them and you should be fine.

I think the only one you have to remove is the Opis_1.1.0 Alpha. There are other ones there like Waila and Evoc but I believe the map one is the alpha. It should not affect anything else only the map.

Oh and don't use the Rei one because I don't think it works.

I stopped using Rei's as soon I went into the config, found "zan map style" or something like that and googled that, and found the voxel/zan's minimap. It literally is the perfect minimap for me, mob icons, cave mapping and teleporting. Some think it is cheaty, but its less cheaty than Spawn eggs, saddles and obsidian/lava.

The lag has disappeared since I removed Opis while Zan's is installed. I thought I would have to remove some other mods too, but its working a treat. And without optifine too. (i know not to install it though)

Hi, srry to hijack the thread but I need some help along the same lines... I have a DW20 1.6.4 server and I am able remove Opis, but I cannot locate a copy of Zans already on in the server files already, so I have tried downloading and then uploading both versions of Zans and each time I crash on server start... I was wondering if there is any in sight into this

Are minimaps not a client side mod. If so the server won't require it.

Mapwriting mod includes Opis, MobiusCore and Evoc. Disable those and you get rid of the mod. I installed Zans instead and everything works fine.
