Bug Removed Sacred Rubber Tree, World Lighting Issue

Im using the Direwolf20 1.7.10 pack, i planted a sacred rubber sapling without realising the size of it, to get rid of the tree i had to disable MFR, the tree and leaves disappeared but now all the chunks that it was in are dark, when i walk over to them they light up but then go dark again after i leave, is there anyway i can force them to stay lit up after i leave?

You can open the world in McEdit and relight the chunks using it.

Ive never used McEdit, is it a simple process?

i tried relighting the chunks that were effected in McEdit but it didnt solve my problem

Then try deleting the chunks(doable in MCEdit).
