Remove portal gun mod FTB Server

Ive been trying all night to disable the portal gun mod on my FTB server ive been through the config files and changed all the options but it only disables half the items and it doesnt remove those items from the NEI menu HELP!

If you want to remove all items from the portalgun mod why don't you just remove the mod from the mod directory?
