Reloading from a backup

So, i was playing Skyfactory3 and the D20 summoned a wither. I tried to kill it but was unsuccessful and after getting killed multiple times my inventory was destroyed. I know the game saves backups occasionally and i was wondering how to load up a backup, because even though i can locate the backup i have no idea what i'm supposed to do with it.

Depends which backup that pack uses, usually you unzip the backup you want and replace your old save with those files. Simple as that.
