Refraction mod help?

Im playing a mod pack where they have extra utilitys pretty much gated behind using the mechanics and machines from refraction but i can find almost no guides or videos for as far as its uses and wonder is anyone has any suggestions on how it works or resource material for this mod

I hadnt heard of the mod so I looked it up on curseforge. Their FAQ says to check their wiki, but they don't have a link to a wiki. Their github wiki link also does nothing.
