Redwood leaves grey with texturepack

Details of the issue I've been adding textures to painterly pack for personal use with the ftb inventions modpack. I noticed the leaves on the redwood trees from ExtrabiomesXL are grey. I don't have this issue with default Minecraft textures. I've tried adding the ExtraBiomes texture folder to my texture pack and it didn't work. Any ideas on how to fix this.
