Hello fellow forumgoers! At the moment I'm using DW's pack, and I've added Twilight Forest in. My issue is that I'll sometimes get volcanoes spawning in the land. While they make for...impressive sights (Twilight Forest biomes are generally pretty low, and RedPower volcanoes are generally not), they don't entirely fit the theme, save for the rare occurrence of fire swamp + volcano, which I imagine to be incredible. Is there a way to turn off volcano generation in just Twilight Forest? There's nothing obvious in the configs about it.

It's not a huge deal, they don't generally interfere with any of Twilight Forest's "special" areas, and I can live with a few giant volcanoes in my peaceful forest. I was just curious.

Right now redpower world gen happens in all dimensions. You will also find lots of marble in the hollow hills. I've heard rumors that elo and the twilight forest author will get together and figure out how disable the redpower world gen inside of the twilight forest (maybe a config option to exclude certain dimensions), but that's just rumors for now.

Well it does not generate in the Nether or the End...
I actually think that a blacklist in the config would be more suited to this problem.

Volancoes in a massive forest? Burn baby Burn.

I also added Twilight Forest to my DW20, just haven't tested it. I like the idea, adds more to the landscape.

I can confirm that Redpower World really doesn't get along with Twilight Forest and ExtraBiomesXL... if I was allowed to make a wish, I'd wish for that incompatibility to be the next focus of Redpower development.

So redpower generates in twilight forest, but skips mystcraft?? Annoying, I'd prefer to see those switched. I want basalt and marble in my mining worlds.

I've seen marble in my mining worlds before, it might have to be in caves though, I believe marble gens when stone is exposed to air?

Yes, exposed stone has a chance of being turned to marble. Cave Worlds (and future sky worlds, pillar worlds) have a large amount of exposed stone, causing a serious amount of marble to generate, which can cause lag while it's sorting it all out.

Considering basalt is one of my favorite block types ever... for the bricks... i have to say these new volcanos are epic fail :/ sorry Eloraam.

I am running twilight forest too with ebxl and redpower... and gosh durn the ugly volcanos being even uglier with these incompatibility scenarios :X

I love eloraam's work on redpower, but knowing she is such a perfectionist, I'm honestly surprised that her volcanos are so... un-volcano like.

The RP code doesn't know about those new trees, so sees them as ground. Seeing a volcano spawn on top of TF trees results in an interesting look, especially after the trees have burnt down.

What's more, the TC3 silverwood trees don't even burn at all. Found a tree almost totally buried under basalt, with lava flowing over it on one side.

But that's just mod incompatablity issues. Overall, almost all the volcanoes I find tend to be the flat shield ones that cover a large area. Very few are the cone shapes, and very few of those have impressive lava flows.

I heard though that the code was being improved, with more realistic results and features such as crater lava lakes.
