Redpower textures became darker

I've been using this world for a while and redpower use to work fine then all of a sudden their textures became noticeably darker. The actual functions of the block work fine but the textures are darker and it annoys me and if I place a torch near it, it only brightens a little bit but not to what it should be.

Edit:It now is the same thing with the GUI of the Buildcraft Gates.
Edit2:The Buildcraft just fixed itself.

I would tell you to turn smooth lighting back on, but it seems that it is on. Did you install optifine? If so, make sure that smooth lighting is set to 100%
