I just made a frame mining machine w/inch worm drive drive and mining wells. Got it all wired up and it works flawlessly! I have a chunk loader on the "ship" and one with the redstone logic near the library (mystcraft age)

It outouts fantastic sometimes over filling the enderchest! My question is after a few hours it will stop working, and just getting near it maked it start to operate again. At first I accidently put the chunk loader directly below the jacketed wire which was powering the chunk loader turning it off.. I fixed that and it started working.

But after a few hours you need to revisit it. I have the chunk loader set fairly high just incase. I even afk'ed in the age last night and it had stopped working. Ill get a video of this set up on a few hours.

How do I fix this? I could put chunk loaders in the deployer maybe ? To keep plopping down and breaking chunk loaders?

Idk if this would help but try to put a second chunkloader on the mining machine. so that there is always 1 loader standing still.

Yes I do.
Because some weird game mechanics can cause chunk resets when the chunks get unload (like it's the case when the cunkloader is moved), I learned this the hard way, destroying my 120 block breakers and stuff ;D

i added an extra few. So i have; 1 on the raw frame, 1 on a panel, tried one on a cover but it just moved, i put 7 chunk loaders in one deployer so it is broken and re deployed each cycle, but not sure if that works since it doesnt have an owner, and says it only loads a single chunk

And its not a few hours, its more like 15 minutes or less it stops working. even while logged in.

I can suggest looking at Odedex's most recent Let's Play. He deals with the same problem as you're having. I think he does it nearing the end of the let's play.

So put the cl on a cover and have it slid back forward when the ship moves? Ive got a decent decent number of chunk loaders to work with so ill try anything.

the idea is that you have two chunkloaders, but only one moves at any one time, because chunk loaders are funny when they move, and sometimes they don't reinitialise the loading until you revisit it

so, if you have one move, and one stationary, then reverse the roles as you go through it should work out pretty well

ok, i have one chunk loader start on a cover, so when the frame moves, the CL stays stationary while the frame moves underneath of it. once the frame stops the CL its pushed back forward with another frame motor.

And you guessed it! still no luck.. Did they fix the 'ole vanilla chunk loader thing, where you trap a zombie holding an item and it keeps the chunk loaded ?
