Target Release: February 2013
UPDATE:
**Delayed** Sorry
The map is now entering Public Beta!! Please send me a private message on the forums if you would like to participate. Please include the following:
Name (so I can credit you as a playtester)
Email (so I can share the MultiMC instance dropbox file)
Do you have a server (you must host the map yourself to play. I have NOT tested LAN mode so I cannot guarantee it will work but if someone wants to test that'd be awesome)
How many people will be testing with you (it is a multiplayer map afterall)
Your level of experience with ComputerCraft and Mystcraft (at least one person in your group should have decent knowledge of these. I won't be answering basic mod questions if you can't get the map working)
While my map doesn't use the FTB mod pack, it does use a few of the mods, and I plan to add an "Extreme" version which will incorporate many more. Also the state names have homages to the FTB mod developers. Enjoy the easter eggs.
About the map:
Battle your friends to win the votes from the citizens of the United States of Minecraft. View polling results real-time via ComputerCraft monitors. Travel the Campaign Trail using Mystcraft Linking Books. Who will win? You decide!
Concept video:
We held a playtest for Red States vs Blue States, my new team vs team challenge map that uses ComputerCraft. Check out the 2vs2 action where Ben and I representing the USA go against Cruor and Damnedsky, representing Europe.
A video series of the game is going up now, part 1 is here:
