Recv failed, after 2 weeks.

Hi,

I've been playing Direwolf20 on a server called "Nine-by-Nine" for 2-3 weeks, everything was working fine until yesterday evening. when I got back from work and tried to join the server I got disconnected after 30 seconds of frozen world.

I've tried the following :

Re-installing Java
Re-installing Minecraft
Re-installing DW20
Joining Another Server
Playing on my laptop, same problem.
Disabling firewall, anti-virus, changing wifi

Edit : I'm not in a corrupted chunk either, I was able to move a bit and teleport to spawn.

I can ping the server, and nobody else is experiencing any trouble at all. I tried connecting from my work place and it works fine (with my laptop). I'm out of ideas, this doesn't make sense to me... please help!

Sounds like a firewall problem.

Also, is your ISP's name "rogers" or something similar by any chance?
 
Okay, but still sounds like a firewall issue. That "rogers" was just from people in another thread who apparently had this problem with that particular ISP :c

I just thought you'd re-read my post that says "I've tried without firewall and anti-virus"... guess not.
 
My connection works fine for anything else than this server. and if not disabling firewall then what?
