I know this sounds weird but the only reason i want a ftb server is so my quarries and automation can have 100% uptime. Therefore I am asking does anyone know what specs i would need on a FTB server to support just myself? Also if anyone knows how to keep a SSP world running without leaving the client on that would help me also.

I know these questions may seem kind of dumb but any help would be very appreciated. Thankyou!

You can just click "Open to LAN" and this will be a localhosted server, the world won't freeze when you press Esc or when you minimize your Minecraft window.

Kinda of pointless if you want to keep it open at all times. He's not looking for a listen server(Doesn't run when you're not on) he's looking for a dedicated server.

A 1 gig ram server is doable for one person though I personally prefer 2 or more. If you're not looking to spend much a 1 gig server is ridiculously cheap.
