Been playing on an Infinity server and starting last night me and one other player have suddenly gotten insane lag and we aren't sure why. Talked to one of the server admins and couldn't find anything on their end and both me and the other player's internet is working perfectly fine for everything else. Any idea what the lag could be caused by(it takes like almost 5 mins for it to register me doing anything. It is just strange that around the same time me and one other player on the server suddenly got unplayable lag while everyone else is fine.

Can you upload a log of when it happened to pastebin and give us the link?
Where you all in th same area?
Does going to a completely different area solve it? With that I mean to a place where your player is not loading in any of the chunks that are loaded when it happens
Is it only latency or did the fps drop to?

What kind of "lag"
Latency? Are you 2 close by/using the same connection/same ISP? Could be a routing problem.
FPS lag? Are you both in the same area when it happens? Check for mass entities or particles.
TPS lag? If no-one on the server is noticing then it's unlikely to be this but maybe.... A billion reasons for this, tell the admin to run diagnostics.

I'll grab a log soon, and it was latency lag. We both live in different states so not using the same connection. When I get a chance I will ask what ISP he is using. Ingame we were in different areas of the map and people living in both our areas were unaffected.
