Summary of the problem Reading manual crashes the game

Pack Version 1.1.0

What is the bug? I'm going through the Engineer's Manual from IE and while reading it the game keeps crashing back to desktop. Its only happened while I read the manual, which I have crafted into the Akashic tome.

Mod & Version Immersive engineering. Possibly Akashic tome

Link to log file I don't know how to do this.

Is it repeatable? For me yes. Try to read Engineers Manual for awhile. If the bug doesn't happen link it to akashic tome and try again. Haven't tried reading it outside of AT.

This is a known bug, reported in the threads below:

And has also been mentioned multiple times in the Age of Engineering thread. Unfortunately I don't know if there is a consistent solution. As far as I am aware, it is a problem with the IE Manual itself, and not a factor of Akashic Tome.

here the sulution: 7. Client crash when viewing the IE manual. Not all users. To fix update java/use the updated java versions instead of the one minecraft comes packaged with (1.8.0_25). Switch the twitch launcher to the jar launcher instead of native, then specify verion. Or in the native launcher, edit the instance settings and choose the java version

Make sure you are using the latest version of Java 8. Seems to fix for most players.
