Hi
  • What OS are you running? : Windows Server 2012 ( VMware ) Mineos turnkey
  • I am using dedicated machine
  • What version of FTB are you using? Monster 1.1.1 already tried monster 1.1.2 ( same problem )
  • Did you add any mods to the server pack? NO
  • What are your server specs? -amd fx-8320, 16gb ddr3 1600, 120gb kingston ssd, 2tb raid 0, 50mbits up and down conneciton
  • A good detailed paragraph about the problem
When i launch the server everything is ok, after a couple min i get these errors :
[FINE] [ForgeModLoader] Saved ModFlags.dat NBT data file successfully.
[SEVERE] [Minecraft-Server] Reached end of stream for /127.0.0.1
[INFO] [Minecraft-Server] /127.0.0.1:40632 lost connection

When i'm playing in the server I constantly lag ( rubber band ) every 3-5 seconds

I tried direcly on my 2012 server, ( keep getting server overloaded errors)
tried virtualbox mineos turnkey
trying Vmware mineos turnkey

Allowing 8cores 8gb ram and 20gb ssd on virtual machines ( i used to run this setup with mindcrack 1.4.7)

the errors i see in the console are spammed about 10 times each and after that every 1 min and wont stop till i turn off the server

That isn't really a cause of lag nor is it a major concern, can you post the the whole server.log and forgelog?

Then start swapping your logs on boot or use another paste sevice. However make sure minecraft server is the only thing running on that server as "can't keep up" means your CPU is lagging. I also suggest reinstalling everything in your pack including the server.jar except the world and adding the -server flag to your startup arguments.

The windows server may have had other application running or was more taxing on the CPU, ubunto is very minimal so that could explain the fix.

no really i have 8 core cpu and in windows the cpu was at 12% work, while in linux it is 40%
windows has a program that if your cpu is running to high on a program it automaticly lower the affinity by default ( zombie mod ) the program cant work propelly anymore
also 5 of my cores were parked, of course in linux they all run perfectly if anyone consider making a gameserver, take the time to learn the little curve with ubuntu its worth every little second!
