Windows .exe RE-Batteries incorrect id;s

When I craft a RE-Battery, it comes out with the ID 30239, but every recipe that uses RE-batteries is expecting them to be ID 30242. However, when I charge the batteries (I had to cheat in a generator as this is what I was trying to build in the first place), the ID goes back to 30242 with a new damage value, as it should be. Is there a way I can change the ID of a completely empty RE-Battery?

I believe that is something that has been in IC2 for as long as i can remember and it has to do with damage values. When you look up say the Batbox recipe in NEI it shows you need the full battery but you don't need the full one.

If you are ever doing auto crafting from AE then use the empty one as the item in the receipe. I know it can be a pain the butt but I just live with it.
