I would like to know what the rarity is, of each type of ore and types of logs. The reason I ask is that I'm making a shop with basic items and I want to price things according to how rare they are. I was hoping someone may just happen to know the rate of which specific ores spawn.

Also, I was lucky enough to find a vanilla price guide (http://pawncraft.co.uk/wiki/index.php/Minecraft:Price_Guide) that I might be able to use as reference. Maybe, someone knows of something similar to this with FTB?

Thanks!

Most mod stuff is made of vanilla things. Why dont you just take that guide, and make a new one accordingly? It's not that hard.
Example: redpower alloy furnace= brick times 8, so $40!
You can also go to other people's servers, and take their prices for your server.

Also, if you want to know rarity of items, you can look up ores on their respective wikis, and judge crafted items
accordingly!

[Edit] That's a nice guide, by the way! I might use it for my server.

Haha Yeah I know I can do the work myself. I was just hoping someone had already done it.. It would totally save me some time lol.

Good call with the respective wiki's tho. I should have narrowed my search down a bit further. Found this (http://grab.by/jmZ2) Very Helpful thanks!

An item is only as much valuable as someone is willing to pay for it. Different things will have different values for different people, if you set one fixed price, some people will be unhappy and some will think it's too cheap. The only way to set reasonable prices is to trade a lot and let the demand decide the prices.

Just because ore A spawns twice as much as ore B doesn't mean B should be twice as expensive. Maybe I use a lot of ore A in my builds, and I have an automatic machine to produce B. B is almost worthless to me, while I would pay premium for A.

Ugh... well that puts a damper on that idea. Well, I've been told shops ruin servers because players always find a way to exploit the system. But I figured, if I only put the Essentials in there, then it would be alright. But with FTB there are alot of basic blocks haha. I figured i would get away with selling ingots, Logs, iron tools, rubber tree Saplings, basic vanilla blocks, dies, upgrades, and a couple other things. I haven't played a whole lot and I dont really know the worth of the ingots. I really feel like they would be the make or break part of this whole endeavor. :/
