I do not know whether this is the correct place to post this but I am searching for a mod or plug-in that would allow me to add my own ranks and permissions to my server. I don't want it to take up to much RAM because I do not have a lot.

You might want to look around in the Bukkit forums, there are a lot of useful server plugins there, and it shouldn't be too taxing on the RAM.
