Summary of the problem Random Tile Entities Losing Data

What is the bug? A few times now, I've come back to my base to find chests empty, machines not opening their GUIs, and other oddities. Breaking and replacing the machines seems to fix them, but empty chests stay empty and don't drop the items they're supposed to have.

I have added (FastAsync) WorldEdit and Chunkgen, and it might be related to WorldEdit, so I'll make a report there too. But It's really weird, and I'm not quite sure what could be causing it, so just in case it's not, I'm posting here to see if anyone else has encountered something like this.
Also I think the missing mob spawners / dungeon chests seem more like incomplete worldgen? Hard to say.

Is it repeatable? Not sure. I seem to notice it sometime after doing a //replace in WorldEdit over an area that covered my base (//replace dirt 99%dirt,1%clay over a 500x500x255 region, and other similar environmental replaces), but nothing that should affect chests and machines directly.
It doesn't happen all the time, since I couldn't reproduce it intentionally, and I never seemed to notice the problems till a while afterwards.
Known Fix There is a newer build of FastAsyncWorldEdit I'm going to try, the changelogs mention a few things about Entity data bugs being fixed.

But I'm still guessing really that that's even the cause, which is why I'm reporting here just in case it's something else.
