If i set my Max ram allocation to more then 1 gig using the launcher I get a crash to desktop with no crash report. Im not even seeing java come up. Any suggestions?

Your Java bit type needs to match your OS bit type, you will have problems if they don't. Also, what other programs are you running at the same time? If you're using too much RAM that could be a problem also.
0.3.1 and exe. if i lower it below 1024 on max memory i can play. but i want to have more then 1 gig cause jungles lag me to pieces otherwise
Have you tried restarting your computer? I remember hearing somewhere about memory leaks with some of the builds, but I'm not sure.
