Railcraft MFSU cart and loaders/unloaders

I'm trying to make a set up to transfer power from my nuclear reactor setup to my base and I plan on using Railcraft Energy Loaders and un-loaders..

Now looking at the wiki it says the Loaders and unloaders output and input at 512 eu/t but it says for it to work with a MFSU cart you need to install a transformer upgrade but that makes them output and input 2,048 eu/t and I thought a MFSU could only take 512 eu/t in..

Am I missing something here? I don't want to blow this stuff up.

Do I need to put transformer upgrades in the Energy Loader or Unloader to be able to use a MFSU cart?

Hm, I don't think you need a transformer upgrade.
But if you want to be really sure, you should try it in Singleplayer and cheat the items in and build your contraption to see what happens.
