I just started playing around with the magical side of direwolf's pack and there's something bothering me already. I watch a lot of videos by Hattfilms and I noticed in their previous LP's there was a feature that allowed them to hold shift over an item to view the magical properties of that item. I noticed that this feature is no longer avalible in DW's pack and I was hoping to add it myself. What I'm wondering is if it's a mod that adds the shift ability or something in a config file maybe, or was it just part of TC3?

Thaumcraft adds it, but it also depends on the items, if they do not have aspects then they will not show anything on the shift hover :p I'll download direwolf pack to check the configs to see if there is something weird going on, but im sure it should work perfectly (Have you analized the items with the thaumometer?) :)[DOUBLEPOST=1396770107][/DOUBLEPOST]For the time being if you cant access the information, you can use this to look up the aspect you need and use the appropriate item:

Yeah in TC3 you could shift over any item to get its aspects, in TC4.1 you need to use a thaumometer on them first.
