Hello, asking if anyone would have good idea to setup air compressors with rotary, My initial though would be hydrokinetic engines for this task or alternative hook up few steam engines... aka I dont need majestic levels of power there but need stable fire and forget setup. Lubricant is smooth going and only thing I lack is good setup.

so my question is what kind of setup would people suggest for hydrokinectic setting, and/or what kind of setup would be suggested without hydrokinetics?

Not sure if i can explain it well but here is a try:

For the farm i have 1 Aqueous Accumulator feeding a Steam Engine, bellow the engine i have a lava source heating it up and over the engine a Cooling Fin to keep it from exploding:

The power is split in 2 with a Shaft Junction, and then split again in 2 by another 2 junctions, after that it's connected to 4 fans that harvest the Canola:

The Canola is collected by a Vacuum machine powered by another steam engine:

Then sent to a set of grinders for processing, once again powered by another steam engine. The power is split the same way it was on the fans but this time you need a 16:1 Gearbox set to torque to convert the excess speed:

The Lubricant then is sent to 2 sets of 8 Hydrokinetic engines, which are connected to 2 16:1 Gearboxes on speed mode:

This will give you 1490 RF or roughly 150 MJ and is pretty much free of maintenance.

Clever. I like it.

The only downside is the connection lag if you get around like 16 blocks close to the hydrokinectis. Tho it's way better on the last versions and you can almost not feel it on the 19x versions.
