Questions about the Portal stuff on FTB?

Hello, i am new here, so please tell me if I'm posting in thw wrong place.

I'd like to make a companion cube in FTB, but whenever I try to get it to tell me how, it doesnt come up..
Is it not a crafted item? Do I have to find one first?

I tried making a weighted cube, and right clicking, but it didnt work...

Try putting the weighted cube into the world and then right clicking it with a red rose.

If you want it to be your friend you'll need to wine & dine it
