For FTB Ultamite

The way I understand them is it is kind of like being in two places at once. Would this be the same as occupying two slots on the server at once as far as network resources?

Or just in memory use on the server itself?

Or both?

And if it is occupied memory?

Would an increase in ram lighten the load on the CPU itself?

Any opinions are greatly appreciated. Answers even better!

Thank in advance for any help!

By chunk loaders, are you refering to anchors?

Anchors keep a chunk loaded when the players have moved away from it. That means that all those blocks stay in memory (extra ram), all the water, lava, plant and animal calculations still happen ever tick (extra cpu).

because there are multiple items that do this. and the one most use is a 'chunk loader' from chickenchunks mod. the one from railcraft sucks and uses ender pearls for fuel unless you disable it in config files.

network resources? you are having bandwidth issues?

it shouldn't consume any more resources than a person standing there, the main problem is servers with a bunch of quarries and chunk loaders, is like a dozen other users logged in, and can lag the server.
