Question: what is the best software for video recording?

Title says it all, what should i use to make videos?

For me, Fraps works awesome but the problem is it makes so huge of files. Reduce the file size by editing the video and saving it to a much smaller size. Fraps costs $37 and the software I use to edit is Adobe Premiere Elements 14 which costs $100 I think plus tax. If you do not want to spend this much money then you can search for recording software that makes small file sizes.

Well, I do not know if it is the best, but OBS is free so if you try it and don't like it you lose nothing but time.

I heard it is very slow for some people and I already bought adobe premiere elements 14 and fraps. Thank you though
