Nope. No ghast tear recipe.
Only source of ghast tears that doesn't involve killing a ghast, that I know of, is Ghastly Bees.
However, if you can find a darkwood tower in the Twilight Forest, the tower ghasts will drop ghast tears and are significantly easier to farm than ones in the nether.
I have found endstone in some random ages, spawns in floating & ground level spheres, just another way to find endstone.[DOUBLEPOST=1374702254][/DOUBLEPOST]Ghast tears can be gotten from TF in the tower castle thing you find on top of the dark forests, in around 1 of 3 of the towers you will find mini ghast spawners, the mini ghasts drop ghast tears & gun powder, also there is a ghast boss at the very top, his drops & trophy are in the chest after you kill him.
And I guess there's also no UU Matter recipe for Steel Dust as well?

It's not that hard to get steel with a railcaft blast furnace and a couple of coke ovens/charcoal factories.
CRAP! I thought there was...guess I'll have to pull up a chair in front of the Blast Furnace and read a magazine.
Just set up an ae network (if you already haven't. Ae is a BEAUTIFUL mod), make an me drive and some storage disks, make 2 me export buses and 1 me import bus, put all the buses on the blast furnace, set one export bus to either charcoal or coal coke (whichever you have), and set the other to iron. Hook that into your network and do a few other things, come back and you'll have plenty of steel for anything.
Already did that....but it's like the fat guy screaming at his microwave, it's just to damned slow.
MFR auto-spawner + grinder. Make the room from reinforced stone/glass or xychordite shield.
