With the mods included is there a way to repair enchanted armor / tools / weapons with out loosing the enchantment? I know in past mod packs there were methods, usually pricey but worth it if you got a set of armor with just the right enchants on it. But not entirely certain with the current mod pack given a lot of the mods we had in 1.7.10 isn't available in 1.10.2. :(

The anvil.

This is an option.

Also with EnderIO's enchanter, you can create the right books to make your "perfect set" of armor/tools, and a mending book, then use the Botania enchanting system to apply all of the books at once, and then use an XP farm to repair.

An exp farm is possible without Thermal Expansion's exp bushes? How? o_O As for a mending book, never heard of it. All I know is if I make a second set of Dark Armor to repair my current set in the anvil it'll remove the enchants so I then have to reenchant them again. Though it does look like I need to start on Botania. *hmm*

XP farm is another way of saying mob farm. Don't let the farm kill the mob, do it yourself (vanilla mechanic here... lots of info on them) Mending is a new enchant (again vanilla mechanic) that repairs items using XP gained. So when you are gaining XP from killing mobs or harvesting coal/redstone/diamond/lapis etc, it uses some of that XP and diverts it to repairing your items with the enchant on.

Oh! The old fashioned non automated way. *hmm* Ok. Will have to try and find some more spawners then and make a drop trap that is... *thinks* Gah, it's been ages since I did a drop trap, not since 1.25 when I played the FTB monument map. Ok. *goes to look up the info*

Head to the Nether and kill some Wither Skeletons. They drop "Drop of Evil"

Make a mob spawn area, make the platform dirt, put Drop of Evil on dirt and get out... This is the new Cursed Earth

Well the cursed earth is still the same, just the way to get it is different

Try repairing with dark steel, not new armor, on the anvil.
