Question about Squid Harvesting.

I'd like to set up an area to milk Squid but keep them alive. Is this possible? I tried MFR's Harvester and it doesn't work.
 
You need to use the Rancher to get the ink sacs, and a jailer's net will try to keep the squid from despawning. Make a 3x3 pool of water, and dig down 2 levels, so it is always flowing downwards to keep the squid from suffocating.
 
Sorry, I meant I throw them in there via Jailers Net and wall them in on all sides. One side is glass to make sure they still there just in case, but mostly cause yanno, aquraium
 
You have to also be aware that no matter what animal you pen if their cells don't have an inner layer of glass, they will glitch through the wall and suffocate. I tested before and found that I lost some because of that. With an inner layer of glass, I didn't lose any animals.

Also works with Villagers.
 
Havent had any troubles with a 3x3 stone brick box and a glass front. No air in there. And I put two in there for good measure in case one commits suicide. Total overkill, have like 10k ink sacs, so got lots of time to notice a prison break before the ink dries. Ba dum dum.
