Question about railcraft tanks

and the feature to save liquids. If you change the tank and leave the bottom center block it saves the liquids... k. But if you change the tank in such a way that the bottom center block is no longer the center but still never remove it, does it still save the liquids?

Nope, sorry. It'll only work if the bottom centre is untouched and still referenced as the liquid holder.

As long as the centre block of the old sized tank is not destroyed, the data stored in that will be transferred across to the new sized tank and it's new centre block.

I had a 3x3 tank that I resized just fine to a 5x5 tank.

Hmm, maybe it changed in the recent versions, then. Last time I did a resize it killed the contents.

I just upgraded my tank from 5x5 to 7x7 and all of the stored liquid was deleted. I didn't touch the bottom center block.

I'm pretty sure it was advertised as being up-gradable without losing fluid.. So perhaps it's a bug?
