This is my quarry system from Techworld 2 powered with 16 stirling engines.

Now this is my system on Direwolf20's mod pack. I am curious where all that power output that I was seeing on Techworld 2 went. Or if it was modded in a way to make the stirling engines weaker. Both have out of the box configurations as well. Thank you in advance!

I would not be surprised if the stirling engines were nerfed. I'd suggest using Steam dynamos hooked up to energy conduits to power the quarry. They take the same fuel(also need water, but can be provided with a pump or aqueous accumulator), don't blow up, and each produce the equivalent of 8mj/t.

Thanks Wagon153! Honestly, i've been looking for alternative ways that didn't end up blowing up my engines. A long time ago I remember using combustion engines with lava and either Enderman or griefing would always result in them blowing up. The water pipe would be missing the one water pipe block that fed the combustion engine.
