I'm assuming you're talking about the blue slime balls?

They can be used as tool components by crafting them into Slimy Mud and then smelting that into a Slime Crystal. They make superior handles to most materials in Tinkers Construct.

You can also use them for sticky pistons and magma creams instead of the vanilla slime balls

A MFR Unifier can do this for you. It's basically the same as the lexicon but works on more stuff.
