Question about Darkwood and Silverwood trees.

I'm trying to grow them in my creative world, but bone meal doesn't work on them. What am I doing wrong?

I know that silverwood trees cannot be bonemealed and just need time and luck. my question is, what the heck is a darkwood tree?

Similar to a Pine Tree, but with a dark color. Was added by one of the mods in one of the packs...I think.

must be extrabiomesXL then, i honestly have no clue about that one, but... silverwood is grown through time and luck, just leave the sapling be for a while

No it's a twilight forest tree, they grow in darkwood forest biomes and the leaves are so dense that no sky light shines through them.

Silverwood trees grow in their own time (along with Greatwood and RP rubber)

All the rest can be bonemealed- but it sometimes takes a few attempts for more exotic saplings, or if space is limited

from what I heard silverwood sapplings require aura to be able to grow, so planting them in an area with low aura won't help them growing fast
