I have recently found out about an amazing trick to make quarries/ quarry plus's very fast. You will need tile accelerators from geostrata, the higher level the better! Set up a quarry/ quarry plus and have tile accelerators directly next to the thing supplying power (at your base etc.) (big reactor etc.) Say its a magmatic dynamo, put it next to that. Next go to your quarry and put tile accelerators next to your quarry, and if you use a quarry plus, put one next to the pump as well. Also, at the quarry put tile accelerators next to the thing giving the quarry power at the quarry area, ex. Lava generators. If you did it right, and you have enough power to sustain how fast it's going, especially if you use a quarry plus. Also make sure you have an ok PC and if you use a q plus, is recommend using silk touch because the magnetite ore gives a lot of xp ( i accidentally did fortune and I got 85 levels from the quarry but it does lag a lot) Also, if you make a full size quarry, make sure you have a lot of storage. (a lot of 16k storage drives or some 64k's.) if everything was done right, you should have a pretty fast quarry. I should also mention the accelerators stack, so you can have one next to you quarry and one under it etc. Hope I helped!

Yup, they speed up any tile entity such as a furnace. What if you had an electric furnace with maxed Overclockers and a lot of power and it could insta smelt lol I gotta try that[DOUBLEPOST=1408129044][/DOUBLEPOST]

Honestly if you are feeling like getting loads of resources fast with your quarry+, then just enchanting it with efficiency V and unbreaking III will result in you can max it out with 2785RF/t. And that is pretty damn fast on its own. I really don't understand why anyone would want to speed it up even further, unless they knew they only had a day to play on the server/world before being forced to stop.


EDIT: on further thought, the unbreaking might work slightly different than that. You might be able to reach the non-unbreaking cap that would otherwise take 11k RF/t to reach with just the 2785RF/t, but I guess nothing is preventing you from still giving it the 11k RF/t to make it go even faster with Unbreaking.

Honestly this is why I like dartcraft. Its fun and some people may call it "Overpowered" but it honestly really can be configured to your liking and not only that, you can also use something called self control and not make insanely fast quarries with it if you are worried about progressing to fast. I know some people may hate dartcraft but it honestly is a really fun mod to toy around with and expirement with and I find it is absolutely amazing. I however do not like using it sometimes and wish to do a more tech side that is heavily based on tech and not so much magic. It just depends on the mood I'm in.
