QuantumSuite vs. MPS

Advantages/disadvantages. I'm sorta on the border. MPS is really quite expensive if you're going the GT route (I know both are enabled in 1.4.7, but just to make it hard on myself...)

It seems MPS offers the better deal. With full diamond plating, how much walk speed can you expect to lose? Is this counteract-able with haste?

The full quantum suit negates most damage sources, practically making you invulnerable.

I only use the MPS helmet for the autofeeder. The quantum helmet used to have that feature, but not anymore. Also, the Railgun addon for the power tool allows you to kill most mobs in 1 hit. In combination with a gravisuit, you can use the powetool to propel you up, then turn on flight.

Never tried the full MPS.

GraviSuit has much better flying abilities than MPS. Quantum is invisible, besides Nano Sabers. If you have Advanced Solars you can make an Ultimate Solar Helmet, which means near infinite power for your Quantum Suit. I vote Quantum.

the only advantage quantum armor has - is somewhat superior protection.
however, the utility of MPS simply blows that out of the water.

That was kinda my issue.

Utility vs. Protection. Though I could use Quantumsuit for owning it up in TF, MPS for around the base. Though I am using expensive GT recipes. Super conductors wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.[DOUBLEPOST=1374310725][/DOUBLEPOST]I am not so worried about the food stuff. 1.4.7 doesn't have that issue. But the swimming, underwater breathing, parachute, gliding. Baby, oh baby.

the Nuke and TF are probably the only things that can prove quantum to be superior in protection, but if you really need that kind of protection for TF, i kinda doubt your skill...

I don't care about the MPS utilities, self sustaining energy and flying is enough utilities for me. I wear armor for protection.

I don't really pride myself on my MC PvP skill. I'm an engineering student, my pride is in my design, build and tweeking.

Though, for games like HoN, WoW, etc. They call me #1, heh.

I prefer the quantum suit for its simplicity and the MPS for all the gadgets you can install. I have both and switch from time to time, can't really decide. I consider both to be to powerful though, so I'll probably deactivate them in a future game, as there are so many other interesting armor options in the packs that are just overshadowed by those 2.

But I don't. Because the whole point of MPS, at least for me, is to have an OP suit early-mid Game. Yes, I like OP stuff because they are OP.

How is the gravity suits flying better than MPS? Also, MPS has a solar generator and various other generators as well.

gravi has creative flight. MPS has the speed of light flight which is hard to controll even with flight control.
