Basically, i'm expanding and reshaping my ME Controller. I uncabled pretty much everything that was attached to it including the dense cable feeding my storage (which is on the other side of a singularity).

Now finished, i've hooked the cable back up and it's not working. When I check the other side, the energy cell is empty so it looks like i'm not getting power or data transfer across the bridge.

Any ideas?

In the first picture, it looks like there is a separate quantum bridge to the left that isn't hooked up yet. Could the singularities have been mixed up with the connected one?

I thought that at first, so I made a new pair and kept those completely separate.

Aha.

Worked it out.

Apparently the procedure for restarting a bridge is the same for starting it, I needed to power the far end to wake it up. I put another full energy cell in place and everything came back to life :)
