Hey If your still on this Me and a couple friends are making an HQM modpack.
"The Eclipse Project"
The Story:

It seems our world has become unstable, in terms of intelligent life pushing the bounds of physics. Our civilization and the others that we have joined with from farther away than one can imagine, have devised a plan to bend reality to our will, and to create matter out of nothing. The ones who coordinated this were not intelligent enough to see the the impending danger and risk of their project, The Eclipse Project. While being funded by governments everywhere in hopes of a profitable payoff, The Eclipse Project went on to further development into many years of construction on the moon. The Earth's sun was a perfect specimen for power generation, and was to be used as a massive fusion generator, as it had expanded exponentially over the course of the hundreds of thousands of years after the present day.

The solar being that had been fueling our solar system's everlasting light and warmth was to be defiled and massacred for the Project's will. It was discussed that the human race's fate was to move on to other planets and evolve to those planets, however our entire race was pit against each other for the time when it was being planned. A cold war had broken out with threats being thrown around like feces in an ape's atria.

Human stupidity was inherently clear on both sides; for the ones who wanted to break the laws of physics, and the ones who wanted to stop them, greed, and hatred consumed their souls in an instant, but the cold war stopped...

The Eclipse Project had finished its construction on the moon and around the sun. A great veil of darkness was spread across the earth as the moon came in focus with the sun, and the project was underway. An estimated 10 minutes of pure exposure was all to be rendered upon the earth, but the rebellion had a plan to vanquish their, or what they thought was their plan, to consume our sun. Misconjectured information had ravaged both sides, resulting in a catastrophic failure of the device during the most sensitive period. They had succeeded at bending reality, and created the antimatter nessescary for power, however with the attack of brute force on the highly fragile machine, caused antimatter to be created at too quickly of a rate, resulting in the contact of regular matter. The machine was to have matter propagate spontaneously, but controllably, and that function was lost. The antimatter being produced had violently detonated, destroying the moon station, and all humans existing there. Complete and utter annihilation had consumed the entire solar system due to the last remaining part of the machine that functioned as a fulminator, or a generator that can turn explosive power into raw energy while compensating, so its structure remains stable. This was also responsible for creating antimatter, which in turn, was made into an infinitely cycling explosion.

Two hyperintelligent, sentinent beings foresaw this, and had their own, unfunded project or plan of their own. The society that followed would be promised everlasting life and peace, when the eclipse project catastrophically fails. The ones who had gathered under this unnamed organization had built something that had a better outlook on technological advancements and have discovered the secrets of quantum physics entirely. It is said that nobody but the gods themselves will know as much as they will about this aspect of what would be considered science fiction.

At the moment of thunderous annihilation, what the two beings had foretold, everyone was whisked away, at the flick of the wrist and the snap of two fingers, by not magic, or religion, but by the rational side of the universe, technology. Some may have deemed it unpleasant to see their home be destroyed by itself, and some were happy to still be alive. Majority of the populous had went dangerously insane, and had to have their memory wiped, which in turn, drove the others mad with fear and dismay. Everyone except those who had proven themselves worthy had their memory stored upon a system, similar to our brains.

With the home of what used to be the origin of humans and other intelligent life utterly gone, and broken without repair, the self deemed gods Triage and Shadow had agreed upon a plan, to create a universe once again, and send those who have stayed with them into it with their memory intact, as long as they could prove that they could withstand the harsh

environment.

Their plans were to make this universe simpler, and with what the other lacked. A simple set of physics and rules was in order to ease the system of overloading with too many things to monitor at once, for this was a digital world, and the power to create it was limited.

The gods had planned to make it where old world values, and items of value were available, as long as you tried for them, and energy and matter was easily exchangeable with the right technology. However, with such simplicity, came loopholes even they did not see, that were either beneficial or reality-breaking.

With the humans rotting away that were on board, slowly but surely, they had decided to cut the world into many dimensions to save time, so the humans would not die before the world was complete and they could be transferred in.

----

Time passed, and eventually the substitute world was complete, and ready to function. The remaining passengers were transported into the world through their minds. There was no further need for the empty lifeless shells they called bodies.

The promise of everlasting life and peace was a slightly broken promise, as there was still unchangeable challenges dealing with the idea of death and life. Those who have died come back in a physical form to haunt and murder the living, and so forth, without reason. For the times of beginning, life was rough, and boring. It posed almost no purpose to live, or even survive, and even with the idea of machines, and magic, there was still never a point. The gods themselves saw the everlasting insanity and sorrow that had overcome their people, and had planned to intervene to restore their once lively souls.

Everything has to have reason. For something to exist without reason, gives it no reason to exist. Reason brings interest, and purpose, and with those, there is reason to do what you must to survive, fight, and propagate, resulting in a never-ending cycle of action and thought.

please if you are interested try our modpack when it comes out or we may send you a beta version.
