I tried to hook up a pump to an oil well, and the engine powers it, but the oil wont go through the waterproof pipes. heres a screenshot of my rig
its build craft oil ( I cherrypicked only a few mods from ftb)Maybe it's not Oil from BuildCraft, but Oil from Galacticraft.
sin't there a wooden pipe equivalent to the waterproof pipes that's necessary
Ok, it makes sense that they can auto-eject because they require the power to pump already; I personally use fluiducts from TE primarilly so not too familiar with BC waterproof pipes.Negative, pumps can connect directly to any waterproof pipe without the need for a wooden one, you'd only need the wooden pipe to pump liquids from a tank into an engine or something similar.

Sludge from MFR? I don't know. I can't see anything wrong with your setup in the picture.its build craft oil ( I cherrypicked only a few mods from ftb)
yep[DOUBLEPOST=1389485129][/DOUBLEPOST]hmm are there any mods buildcraft is dependant on?You sure you made a Pump and not a Mining well?
there is an oil deposit there, there was a geyser but I removed it thinking that wsa the problemHave the pump actually given any oil at all? If you can try and go down the well and see if there is actually any oil downthere.
howcome, because fire right? No idea then. Try and break the pump and place it again. Not sure what else to suggest.
Make sure you didn't place anything(like a torch) in the well.
Nah because it will block the pipe from the pump from going downguess im either going to have to do it by hand of try fluiducts[DOUBLEPOST=1389485730][/DOUBLEPOST]
