Pulverizing Wool Problem

Hey, I have been searching around for a way to create Lapis, and I came across this thread.
I have made this setup and it is collecting wool fine, but it is not pulverizing it...

I am using FTB Unleashed with Optifine installed, the machine has power and is pulverizing other things, but not wool, is it not possible to pulverize wool any more?

Unleashed is 1.5 correct? That pulverizer trick only works in 1.6 with the new TE.
