Hi,I have a problem with pulling out any item from the apiary.
According to the wiki I can pump item out from the side, but I can't do it!
I put a wooden transport pipe on the side with a powered Redstone Engine attached to it but it doesn't pull out anything!
Can anyone help me ?

Here is a pic of my setup:

Nope,it is on Shared Access.

EDIT:
Ok,I replaced the Apiary and it worked.I think it was some weird bug with the Apiary Tile Entity storing its data, because it was on restricted access but I set it to shared yesterday.

I would recommend a auth. Gate instead of that engine , you can set it for missing princess/queen to energy pulse, its more compact the an engine and better IMO . I know that's not something you asked for just stated an option if you have access to assembly table :)

such may not pull product correctly. it`d be better to set items in inventory

Your doing something wrong then as I have all my bees setup this way never had an issue , I use this in apiary and alveary . The princess is always pulled out last so putting to missing princess/queen will always pull everything out. On an apiary I put the wooden pipe on bottom then apiarist pipe pointing to the side, a cobble pipe straight up which connects to the apiary. I also have a cobble pipe going straight down which goes to a chest. The side that goes up to the apiary I put any bees, the side that goes to the chest is set to anything . Never had one issue

Even with a Apiarist's Pipe?
Yup, the bees remained in the alveary, or more correctly all eight alvearies. Pulled out all the combs and ignored the princess and the drones.[DOUBLEPOST=1368642676][/DOUBLEPOST]

The only time there is an issue with this one is when there isn't enough space in your alveary/apiary output.

in this case, i see no other mode for a gate that would work correctly, other then pulse all the time
That's what I ended up doing, although, I had never noticed the issue with Items in Inventory before.

wasnt sure on that part, and suggested that this may not work, correctly. but it does, yet it causes a delay before princes and drone meet, which means a delay in production.

Why all these conditions on the gates? I simply permanently pump the wooden pipe, works like a charm.

It takes a few seconds from the time the queen dies to the princess and drone mate I'm not worried about the speed difference

It's all preference its a more compact setup that is all :) IMO it looks better too , you don't have an engine hanging off the side

Set your gate to IF redstone=false THEN pulseGate
No discussion about princesses, drones, ..., just pump permanently.

Again its all preference , there is No need to have the gate pulse every tick, I chose to have it when the the queen dies this works for me, having the gate pulse every tick like your setup puts more stress on the sever, its not much but it all adds up and If here are ways I can help my sever I do this, again its not much but everything adds up, not arguing just stating facts . If that's how you want to do it that's your choice it gets the job done for you

if you have an alveary with some frames, and bees that have a lifespan of a decent length, you`ll se that delay can be quite noticeable

i`m not sure about redstone engines, but the admin on my server has aabout a 100 of magmatic engines. when i asked about server strain that they cause, he said that they are calculated be client

That's baloney. Easily proven by putting a chunk loader next to them and having everyone log off. They'll still operate despite there being no "clients" to "calculate" their progress.

That said, I'm not sure they'd cause all that much stress to a server.

Apiaries are handled differently to alvearies. Put an autarchic gate on an apiary and set it to "items in inventory" and it'll work perfectly. With an alveary, I've only ever had luck with "queen/princess missing" - sometimes "items in inventory" works, but only for a while, then it just randomly stops and doesn't start again until I bust the pipes and rebuild them.
