Actually, Third Party Games on the Wii U uses up less power than the Wii and yet look just as good as PS4/XBONE. Well, except rain and mist and such, PS4 is infinitely times better than XBONE and Wii U in that part.
Just look at the comparison pictures of Assassin's Creed Black Flag. And that is all with a blind port. If the creators actually worked with all of U's features, it could run even smoother
Also, a greater percent of games on Wii U run in 1080p 60fps native on Wii U than PS4 and XBONE.

Actually, no one knows how good the Wii U is. It seems that atmospheric effects are the PS4's thing, but then again, the only companies who truly know what the U is capable of are Platinum Games, Nintendo, the guys making that new racing game and maybe Ubisoft. We don't even have close to a good idea as exclusive developers have all said didly, and 3rd party devs are mostly just giving us blind ports.
