Project Red gem picks

Im playing with the Monster pack in 1.6.4 and for some reason i cannot build a gem pickaxe even though i have all the gems from the mod Project red. I do as the recipe book has shown and still no pickaxe recipe is working for me.

One thing i've noticed that might help: only Vanilla sticks work. Natura sticks don't work.

Thanks, that worked. I was lacking vanilla type wood so that must have not been a thought that crossed me.

It's actually a weird issue. Ore Dictionary has all sticks regardless of wood type equal, but Project Red says no. I've yet to come across another mod that does that. It's a lesson learned quickly by any who build homes in Natura redwood trees.
