Project Ozone 2 Reloaded - can't make enticing crystal

I found a post from a year ago about this same problem -- however, there was no answer posted.

I'm on a Windows 10 laptop
Minecraft 1.7.10
MCP v9.05
FML v7.10.99.99
Minecraft Forge 10.13.4.1614

I am working through the Delta quest line, under Enchanted Crystals.

I have a Soul Binder, running off a Big Reactor, with 17 liquid XP in it.

I can put in the Soul Vial (Villager) OR the emerald --- not both, which are required to make the enticing crystal. I have configured the Soul Binder to pull from a chest to the left, placed both items in it and it will pull the first item in the chest but not the second -- regardless of which order I place them in it.

Fairly new at asking questions, so if I have not supplied needed info please forgive me, and tell me what I should supply.

This pack is not an FTB modpack so I suggest contacting the correct people for help.

Found the answer on another board -- am posting it here in case anyone else needs to know this. The Villager Soul Vial needs to have a "Vanilla" villager, and I had picked up a guard. Once I changed to a priest it worked just fine.
