Mac problems with ultimate

hello there,
so i have been trying to join a server on FTB Ultimate but i havnt been able to join
so here is my problem my launcher lanches fine the mod pack downloads fine it loads
fine it shows the home screen fine ... but when i click on the server and try and join it
gets stuck on the loggin in screen then crashes with out fail everytime.... any suggestions
would be most welcome

Having the same issue. try single player, that probably won't work either. I think it's specific to the Mac OS you're running. 10.7.3 (lion) will work, but anything before that doesn't

there are three packs that have this as far as i can see yog, ultimate, and mindcrack.

I'm not having the problem described, I'm running on snow leopard (10.6.8), but my friend is having this problem, and is running on 10.8.2. It probably does have something to do with the operating system.

I'm pretty sure actually that it has to do with the version of java. I'm running six, whereas my friend is running seven.
