I'm running Infinity and trying to make a way to kill the Wither efficiently, but it keeps targeting those blood slimes. Is there a command I can use to kill JUST the slimes?

My Test World was overrun with them. Used that command, but they still spawned. Used MCEdit and moved my Grinder to a flat Glowstone World, but might change the top layer to Stone Slabs as I'm getting lighting issues.

Why don't you make your text worlds higher(thicker layer of dirt/sand/whatever) to avoid getting the slimes?

I could never figure out how to do that.

It is rather strange the way you have to do it yeah. If you select Superflat and then click Customize you enter where you can change your world.
Strangely enough there is here a "Remove Layer" button, but no "Add Layer" button, so you will have to do it the hard way. Select Presets:
At the top will be a string of numbers that will equate to your superflat world. Below are a list of presets you can choose from. If none of the presets are to your liking you have to modify the string of numbers manually.

The general thought behind the string is this:
X;Y,Y,Y,Y;Z;structure,structure

X is a version number of belonging to your MC. Just leave it at what it is.
Y is Block IDs for the layers of you want to build the world out of. So for example a world could be "7,50x1,2x3,2". This will make a world out of "Bedrock, 50 Stone, 2 Dirt, Grass". See Vanilla BlockIDs here: http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Data_values#Block_IDs
Z is the Biome ID for the Biome you want to use. Check this: http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Data_values#Biome_IDs
The structure part is stuff like "village", "stronghold", "mineshaft" etc. See this for example on this and presets in general: http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Superflat#Preset_code_format
