Problems making/loading worlds

It seems to either not respond or go into internal server shutdown, Ive tried force updating and it doesnt change a thing.
I allocated 2.5gig memory, and am running i7.

I did the java thing and now its working fine, thank you very much. Wrong thread i know but is there a way to zoom in, ie change the resolution without going full screen?
