Problem with respawning after death and setting spawn

Whenever I respawn after death I am randomly respawned 500m away from my base with the error that my spawn is obstructed. When I try to set it back in my base by sleeping in a bed at night, it never gives me the message that my spawn has been set.

Before this started happening, when I died it would work just fine and respawn me where it should have so this is something that just began happening for some reason.

Could you show a picture of where you have your bed set?

The bed has been moved from the last time I set my spawn. But when I sleep in the bed in its current position, night goes back to to day and yet there is no message of the spawn being set.

Hmm, that's odd, does not seem to have anything blocking it. (to my knowledge.)

Have you tried just moving it to a larger empty room and see if it works there?
Or maybe make another bed, it could be just some random glitch with that specific bed.

Well if something was blocking it wouldn't it be giving me an error and I wouldn't be be able to lay in the bed and have the sleeping animation go off anyways?

And yes, I tried moving it all over the place to random spots. I did try making a new bed and putting in another spot just now and that also did not work.

As well to add, when I sleep in my bed in the Twilight Forest the exact same thing happens. Sleep animation goes off just fine but there is no prompt of my spawn changing.

Are you able to get the server and client logs for when you try sleeping, just in case there is any hint in them as to what is going wrong? Oh and do you have any other mods installed other than the default in the modpack you're using?

Where can I find the server and client logs?

And no, there are no extra mods installed. Only the ones that come with FTB.
