Problem With Modpacks

Details of the issue:
Whenever I try opening the modpack, it will get stuck in the loading screen on Uploading OpenGL Texture and stops responding. I've tried playing Space Astronomy, but still no cigar. I've even tried downgrading to a 1.6.4 modpack (agrarian skies), which also stopped responding (It worked on my old comp).

I am currently using a windows 10. (My old comp is windows 7)
Specs:
Intel Core i5-5200U
NVIDIA GeForce 940M
8GB RAM
64 Bit​

i extracted everything, but it still hangs at the opengl part. Also, if i wait like 15 minutes, it will go past the opengl (only to hang at another opengl part for like 15 more minutes). If i get past the loading screen and get to the menu, it takes like 10 sec for it to register my inputs (like clicking start or whatever).

edit: if i try starting a world, it will send me back to the menu, where it repeats
